In Chloe’s Choice we meet 9 and 4/5th year-old Chloe during the first holiday season since her parents’ divorce. Chloe is learning to live in two homes and to reconcile a number of new holiday traditions. Her mother returns to her Judaic roots, and moves in with a practicing Jewish man and his son; and Chloe’s Christian father is now dating a Nigerian Muslim woman. In this thoughtful, visually stunning and heartwarming show, a number of manifestations of faith and family meet and intermingle. Though in the end what Chloe decides to celebrate surprises them all. Chloe’s Choice, in its celebration of different stories, voices and beliefs, encourages all of us to reflect on the beauty of what makes us different, while celebrating the strength of what we all have in common.
