Since bursting onto Montreal stages just two years ago, Fallen Angel has strung together three back-to-back hits. Monster explored Mary Shelley's tale of Frankenstein's creature and the monster within us all. George F. Walker's Heaven challenged our self-satisfaction regarding societal progress on race and religious conflicts. Quills probed issues of censorship and the competing values of suppression versus expression of violence in art via the story of the failed attempts to quash the Marquis de Sade via incarceration, torture and eventually death.

A Lie Of The Mind examines the deceitful tricks the mind can play and the harsh reality of being surrounded by alcoholism, domestic violence and emotional instability. The play ties in one very important universal truth, each of us is on a desperate search for love and peace of mind.
