The Poster

In Palestine, when somebody dies as a direct result of the struggle, they make a poster with the picture of the martyr and hang it on the walls. Abou Salem prints these posters and one day he finds he must print the poster of his only son. The Poster is a close personal look at the consequences on both sides of the bullet in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. 

L’Affiche, the original French version of the play, was a finalist for the 2009 Grand prix de la dramaturgie (France), and was also named Play of the Year by the AQCT (Association québécoise des critiques de théâtre).
